​​Secondary school students are strongly encouraged to consider taking one of the Summer Semester programs. For exceptional reasons (e.g. a course is needed to graduate or is a pre-requisite for a post-secondary program), a student may request to take a self-study correspondence course with the permission from their home school and the approval of the system coordinator of alternative and continuing education. Such courses may be started as early as July 2. Courses must be completed by August 8.
