Lambton Kent District School Board (LKDSB) is offering free drop-in Summer Engagement Camps for students in Kindergarten to Grade 5 in July and August 2024 at various schools across Chatham-Kent and Sarnia-Lambton.
The Summer Engagement Camps are held 8.30 - 11 a.m. and 12:30 - 3 p.m. at multiple locations Monday-Thursday and offer students the opportunity to participate in games, sports and crafts. Some school sites will offer camp from 8:30 to 2:00 and students must bring their lunch. Summer Student Leaders have designed activities to focus on the development of social skills through play-based learning.
Parents/guardians are welcome to attend and join their child in the fun activities. Please review the schedule to find out when LKDSB Social Workers (SW) will be there to connect with and be available to help with individual concerns. LKDSB will be offering Hearing Screenings (H) in Lambton for all school-age students attending for the 2024-2025 school year – check the calendar below for “H" to know when and where the screens will take place.

Each camp location is limited to 20 participants maximum.
Camp leaders support all camp participants and are unable to provide individual supervision for students. Parents/guardians are required to stay if their child(ren) require individual supervision.
