The LKDSB, in partnership with the municipalities of Chatham-Kent and Sarnia/Lambton, supports our families by bringing childcare, family services and schools together to provide easy access for parents, grandparents, caregivers and parents-to-be.

Research has shown that the early years are the most significant and influential years in terms of brain development, learning, behaviour and health.  High quality licensed child care programs also enhance school readiness and help children achieve later school success.
