International Education

The Lambton Kent District School Board provides educational services to more than 21,000 students in 63 elementary and secondary schools.  Our district is made up of numerous small towns and communities situated in Southwestern Ontario, a geographic area surrounded by the Great Lakes.

International Students choose to study with the Lambton Kent District School Board because it:
  • Provides a quality educational experience
  • Provides a safe and welcoming environment
  • Provides English immersion both in school and in the community
  • Allows students to determine their length of stay
  • Enrolls students from the age of 9 years to 21 years in grade 4 to grade 12
  • Recognizes that visiting students and resident students are mutually enriched when they participate together in social, educational, recreational and cultural activities.
  • Can place students in a Canadian Homestay starting in Grade 9. (Students coming in Elementary school must be accompanied by a parent or stay with a family member.)
