General Information
  • Summer Semester eLearning may be completed from home or any location within Ontario. 
  • Access to the eLearning course will begin at 8:00 a.m. on Monday, June 29.  Courses will end on Monday, July 27 after which no further work may be submitted.  
  • Students are expected to log in to their courses daily, Monday through Friday, and can expect four to six hours of course work per day.
  • Students who miss three consecutive days may be removed from the course.
  • Teachers will be available online for specific times during the day and their office hours will be posted.
  • Students will video conference within Brightspace with their teacher a minimum of two times throughout the course.  Therefore, video conferencing technology (i.e. built in or external webcam and microphone) is required.
  • Students are expected to demonstrate academic honesty by relying on their own efforts and by doing their own work to the best of their ability.  Academic dishonesty is when work is submitted as the student's work but is not, in part or whole, the student's work.  Academic dishonesty may result in a zero being assigned.
  • Course exams will be written on Monday, July 27 starting at 8 a.m. and may be written at home or any location within Ontario.  Exams are not required to be proctored.  LKDSB students may choose their write their exams at one of the Summer Semester sites.
