On Wednesday, November 10, 2021 the newly formed LKDSB Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Community met for its inaugural meeting. This committee is in the early stages of defining the scope of the work it will be undertaking, actioning items and defining processes for recommendations to be factored into the decision-making processes at all levels of the Board. The work will align with the LKDSB Strategic Priority Inclusive Diversity: Anti-Oppression Education and support the Operational Plan currently in place.
