​Students at A. A. Wright Public School, H.W. Burgess Public School and Wallaceburg District Secondary School have been dismissed early on Wednesday, November 9, 2022 due to a local water line issue in the Wallaceburg area. Based on the estimated time of restoration and no access to water at the schools, Lambton Kent District School Board has decided to close these schools to students for the day on Wednesday, Nov. 9.

The schools are notifying parents/guardians to ensure that students are safely transported home.

It is expected that A. A. Wright Public School, H.W. Burgess Public School and Wallaceburg District Secondary School will be open to students on Thursday, November 10.
