The Lambton Kent District School Board has seen the value that international students can bring to our classrooms, our homes, and our community. By welcoming international students into our schools, we are providing opportunities for our local students to develop global competencies that will help them in the future.
In September we will welcome about 100 international students from 23 countries into our schools, communities, and homestays.
We are urgently looking for homestay families to welcome students into their homes. We partner with Canada Homestay Network to support students and homestay families during this experience. Canada Homestay Network will screen families and support them as well as provide remuneration (current remuneration is- $900/month). Here is the Canada Homestay Network website.
