celebrate the unique heritage, diverse cultures and outstanding

that First Nations, Inuit and MΓ©tis Peoples have made to the foundation
of our nation.

WHY:
LKDSB invites you to join us for Weaving the Braid of Unity on June 19th! A virtual grassroots summit will take place to honour and celebrate the beauty and resilience of
the original people who have made the diverse and vibrant nation that Canada is today.

Dancers and singers, drummers and influencers will all be sharing their
messages of peace, love and hope for the world.β Guests will include
Indigenous Grandmothers, Grandfathers and Youth.
Additional guest speakers, artists, writers, and entertainers will
include: Theland Kicknosway, Grandmother Eva Nicholas, Dr. Niigaan
Sinclair, Susan Aglukark, Isaac Murdoch, Rebekah Wilson, and Drew Hayden
Taylor.
