​Lambton Kent District School Board (LKDSB) is informing staff, students, and families about a return to their Inclement Weather Administrative Procedure, resulting in a change for secondary schools.

In the event of an Inclement Weather day, all elementary, secondary schools and facilities of the Lambton Kent District School Board will remain open unless otherwise indicated, even though some bus routes or complete bus zone routes are cancelled.

This change will mean that secondary schools will no longer pivot to a virtual learning platform on Inclement Weather days. This will allow for more opportunities for in-person learning to take place, and remove some of the barriers that staff, students and parents face when trying to arrange for virtual learning to take place on short notice.
