​​Dear Parents/Guardians,

This letter is to notify you of an incident that occurred at the school on Wednesday, March 4 at approximately 7 p.m.

Chatham-Kent Police and Fire and Emergency Services attended John McGregor Secondary School regarding an accident involving a vehicle colliding with the school building. No injuries were reported.

The school will be open on Thursday, March 5; however, access to the affected area will be restricted.

Student and staff safety are a top priority for the Lambton Kent District School Board (LKDSB). The school is working closely with LKDSB's Facilities and Health and Safety Departments to assess the damage and ensure appropriate safety measures are in place for student and staff safety.
