Yearbook Software Cyber Incident

Earlier this month, Edge Imaging notified schools and school boards of a cyberattack on one of their 3rd party yearbook software providers, Entourage's Canadian “Creator Studio Pro" web platform.

They have now been advised that the Creator Studio Pro team, working through their cyber security expert advisors, have secured the return of all the Canadian photo files, along with the commitment of the threat actors that the photo files have been deleted, and were not distributed.

The team at Creator Studio Pro has engaged web monitoring services to help ensure the files do not appear on the internet, and has undertaken a series of rigorous security checks by 3rd party experts to help prevent further incidents.​

An investigation has been opened by Entourage with authorities, and as a result, further information is not currently available. However, any material updates will be provided on their website at:


​The Lambton Kent District School Board has recently been informed by Edge Imaging, that the yearbook software service provider used by some of our schools, Creator Studio Pro, has been subject to a cyber incident.

Photos for 2022/2023 and 2023/2024 yearbooks may have been accessed. Access is limited to photos only as other personal information such as name, grade, school or location were not involved or accessed in the cyber incident.

The schools who may have been compromised include:

  • Lambton Central Collegiate and Vocational Institute
  • Queen Elizabeth II Public School, Petrolia
  • Ridgetown District High School
  • Tilbury Area Public School
  • Tilbury District High School
  • Wallaceburg District Secondary School
