I work as a Public Health Nurse with Lambton Public Health. I run a satellite ‘Sexual Health Clinic’ for GLSS students on Friday mornings. There are student request forms located with Mrs. Fraser (receptionist in Student services). All students need to do is provide their name, the date they are making the request and if their reason is time sensitive. Examples of reasons students visit me for are to access or discuss: -birth control -emergency contraception (morning after pill) -condoms and barriers -STI testing and treatment -pregnancy testing and choices -sexuality and gender identity -puberty -healthy relationships and consent -assist with referrals

| Brian DeWagner Student Support
The Student Support role serves GLSS students who are in difficult situations within their school or community and who don’t have the immediate means to resolve those issues. Situations can range from getting kicked out of their homes to legal trouble or even needing to find an appropriate counsellor or program. There’s a lot of complex issues in between that student don’t have to face alone. It’s a confidential connection and can be made inside or outside of the actual school, and can even include accessibility out of school hours if necessary. Brian is just a call or text away to help students manage any abrupt or ongoing crisis.
| Monday a.m. Wednesday a.m. ...and more
| Students can access Brian by admin staff or via Student Services. There is no paperwork required and no complicated process. If you need Student Support just ask and you’ll be connected.
