| Brian DeWagner Student Support
The Student Support role serves GLSS students who are in difficult situations within their school or community and who don’t have the immediate means to resolve those issues. Situations can range from getting kicked out of their homes to legal trouble or even needing to find an appropriate counsellor or program. There’s a lot of complex issues in between that student don’t have to face alone. It’s a confidential connection and can be made inside or outside of the actual school, and can even include accessibility out of school hours if necessary. Brian is just a call or text away to help students manage any abrupt or ongoing crisis.
| Monday a.m. Wednesday a.m. ...and more
| Students can access Brian by asking anyone in the office, any teacher, admin staff or via Student Services. There is no paperwork required and no complicated process. If you need Student Support just ask and you’ll be connected.
