​The Lambton Kent District School Board takes all concerns regarding student and staff safety seriously and we act accordingly to ensure a safe school environment.

North Lambton Secondary School Administration became aware of rumours regarding a potential concern on Wednesday, March 6 involving an alleged student with a weapon. Lambton OPP was immediately notified and school staff followed the LKDSB's Safe Schools Protocol to ensure student and staff safety.

Lambton OPP is investigating and has confirmed there is no imminent concern or risk for student or staff safety. Police will continue to be a presence at the school and in the area today.

LKDSB continues to cooperate with the ongoing investigation.
