Important message to LKDSB students, parents/guardians and community
We look forward to welcoming students for the start of the school year on Tuesday, September 8. Currently, Lambton Kent District School Board (LKDSB) schools and Education Centres are open to the public by appointment only. In accordance with the order by the Minister of Education, all LKDSB schools remain closed to students in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Planning for the 2020-2021 school year is underway. The Ministry of Education continues to seek guidance from Public Health officials and will provide further clarification to school boards and parents/guardians closer to the start of the 2020-2021 school year. Check the LKDSB website regularly for updates. Additional information will be provided to parents/guardians and students as per typical means of communication (such as phone or email if your contact information is on file). Parents/guardians with specific questions about their child should contact their school directly. Please note: School voicemail will be checked throughout the summer.
Read the June 22 update from Director Howitt to parents/guardians and students here. Read a letter from the Minister of Education to parents/guardians.
All COVID-19 updates and resources are available here.
