🎉🍽️ Colour House Picnic Fun! 🍽️🎉 Today, our entire school came together to enjoy a special Colour House Picnic! ☀️✨ Every student was treated to delicious Bagel Bites with marinara sauce, a frozen yogurt tube, and a refreshing milk — all made possible thanks to the generous support of the President’s Choice Children's Charity. 🥯🍓🥛 It was wonderful to see our students sharing a meal, enjoying the sunshine, and building school spirit together. 💙💚💛❤️
⚽️ ⚽️What a day it was for the intermediate soccer tournament! The sun was shining and so were our teams. Both made it all the way to the finals where the girls played hard but came up short against Queen Elizabeth. The boys kept everyone on the edge of their seat and pulled off a victory in a shoot-out against Centennial. Congratulations to all players et un gros merci à M. Kennefick et M. What an unforgettable day our intermediate students had at Canada’s Wonderland! From thrilling roller coasters to fun games, snacks, and sunny skies, this trip was the perfect way to celebrate a year of hard work, learning, and growth.

Grade 8 students are preparing for grad in today's art class with Mme Davis. Students are channeling their inner Da Vinci, painting portraits of their classmates to display at their graduation.

Students from Mme Nesbitt's class were graciously invited to Bear Creek Residence to join our neighbours in some fun outdoor activities. Bubbles, corn hole and parachute were just a few of the activities enjoyed by all ages! Thank you to the staff at Bear Creek for organizing this wonderful opportunity for our students to get to know our neighbours.
Our Grade 7 and 8 students proudly display and explain their science projects to the younger classes today. Everyone is encouraged to view them tonight at our Families Learning Together event from 4 p.m - 6:30 p.m. We have some real budding scientists here at Hillcrest!

Great work today, Dragons! In honour of Earth Month, students from Hillcrest did their part to clean up the community. We spread out and cleaned up many neighbourhoods in town, collecting over 20 bags of garbage along the way. You have made our community a little bit nicer for everyone to enjoy!
It's election day! Students are casting their ballot today in Student Vote Canada. The importance of civics starts young and our students have been following the campaign and staying informed.
