We are incredibly lucky to have such a supportive community backing our school activities. Because of you, our Grade 5/6 students had an unforgettable experience planning and executing the Talent Show Fundraiser!

Camps are being held in schools across our region for LKDSB students in grades 1 through 10. They run Tuesday through Thursday, with a morning session (8:15 a.m.-11:15 a.m.) and an afternoon session (12:15 p.m.-3:15 p.m.). There will also be a camp every Monday afternoon (excluding holidays) at Queen Elizabeth II School in Petrolia.
All LKDSB students are welcome to attend Summer Connection camps at no cost at a time and location that is convenient for them. New this year, we are offering the Red Cross’ Stay Safe course for interested students in grades 4-5 and the Red Cross’ Babysitting course for students in grades 6-10 at no cost.
Interest in these courses can be indicated on the registration form found by following the QR code or clicking the link on the flyer. We also offer opportunities for students in grades 6-10 to engage in E-Sports.




Mark your calendars for a fun, safety-focused morning this weekend! The Bothwell Optimist Club is a massive supporter of our school community, so let's show them our appreciation and turn out for a great event.

A massive THANK YOU to Mr. Curran for organizing such a fantastic Track and Field day! Your hard work behind the scenes made sure everything ran like clockwork, and our students had an incredible day of competition and fun.
We also want to give a huge shout-out to our amazing parent volunteers and dedicated staff. Whether you were timing races, measuring long jumps, or encouraging our students, we couldn't have done it without your extra sets of hands and cheering voices! 📣
It was definitely a chilly and windy one out there, but the weather didn't slow our athletes down. We are so proud of how every student persevered and gave their absolute best.
Most importantly, the sportsmanship on display was second to none. From high-fives at the finish line to students cheering on their peers, you all showed what it truly means to be part of our school community.
Way to go, everyone! 🏆✨

Only a small pocket of homes/businesses was impacted by the hydro pole work at the Legion. We have hydro, and it is learning as usual.

Our students had an absolutely wonderful time attending the Eelῠnaapéewi Lahkéewiit Children's Pow-Wow. It was a joy to watch them embrace the spirit of the day with such enthusiasm.
From the very first beat of the drum, our students were eager to join in. We are so proud of how they participated in the dancing—their energy was infectious! Huge congratulations to our students, who even walked away with prizes for their dancing.
A massive thank you to the organizers at Eelῠnaapéewi Lahkéewiit for hosting such a meaningful event and for welcoming our school with open arms. We’re already looking forward to the next one!

Help our school bloom this season! Parent Council is excited to announce our Spring Flower Fundraiser in partnership with Thuss Greenhouses.
Starting April 1st, families can order beautiful flowerpots to brighten up their homes while supporting a great cause. All proceeds will go directly toward funding our year-end field trips and other vital school initiatives.

We are thrilled to announce that The Ontario Student Nutrition Program – Southwest (OSNP-SW), in partnership with Produce Express, is officially expanding our snack program for the month of March!
Students will have a choice of a "3-food group" snack pack as a weekly enhancement to our regular grab-and-go items! Snack packs are nut-free and made with halal ingredients. This means even more fresh, nutritious options are headed straight to our students to help them power through their school day. 🥕🍌🥦
