Today is Bus Driver Appreciation Day! We don't often say it enough, but our entire school community thanks you for your daily commitment to safety, professionalism, and for being such an important part of our students' school experience.

On behalf of the students and staff, we would like to express our sincere and enthusiastic gratitude to the Bothwell Optimist Club for the generous sponsorship of ice time for our school-wide skating sessions.
Your support has made it possible for all of our students, from Junior Kindergarten through Grade 8, to engage in physical activity, learn new skills, and build confidence outside of the regular classroom setting. For many, your donation will make a difference, providing their only chance to experience skating and create happy, lasting school memories.
The work you do to bring optimism and positive opportunities to our youth truly aligns with our school's values. Thank you for providing our students with an activity that also fosters community connection while promoting an active, healthy lifestyle for our students. #communitysupport #lkdsb

On behalf of our entire school community, we want to express our deepest gratitude to Fire Station 8 Thamesville and Fire Station 9 Bothwell for their incredibly generous donation of hockey helmets!
Because of them, we have the essential safety gear needed to get out on the ice and enjoy skating. This gift not only promotes safety but also allows our team to focus on the fun and skill-building aspects of this great opportunity.
Your commitment to our school community, both on and off the ice, is truly inspiring. Thank you for making this possible and for everything you do. #communitysupport #lkdsb
