This month, many of our Northern elementary feeder schools held Open Houses for their school community. NCIVS students volunteered at these events, shared information and some Viking swag for our Future Vikings! Welcome to the Northern family!

On this National Day of Truth and Reconciliation, a day of reflection and remembrance, our school was a sea of words to inspire. Posted both inside and outside the school, these orange shirts gave pause to reflect on the importance of honouring one another. On our journey of reconciliation at NCIVS, we hold these words in our hearts as we move forward, together.

This Thursday, Sept. 24th NCIVS looks to beat last year’s donations for their annual Terry Fox Run/Walk/Roll for cancer! As well, two lucky students will have the honour of tossing a pie in the face of two deserving staff members. This annual tradition reflects the Viking commitment to "Finish It Like Terry."

🔥🧪 Chemistry in Colour! 🧪🔥

Our Grade 11 Chemistry students at NCIVS are exploring flame tests and discovering how spectroscopy can help us identify different elements by the unique colours they produce.

From bright flames to atomic fingerprints — chemistry is literally lighting up the lab! 🌈⚛️

🎶 NCIVS Music Takes the Stage! 🎶

Our talented NCIVS music students kicked off a night of music in Point Edward with an incredible opening set! 🎸🥁🎤

What a great opportunity for our students to share their talent, perform for the community, and show what happens when music, teamwork, and passion come together.

Way to represent NCIVS! 🎶🔥
