Congratulations to our 2025-2026 Members of Parliament! We can't wait to see you grow in your leadership this year.

🎉 Congratulations to All Our Student Parliament Candidates! 🎉
To every student who put their name forward in this year’s student parliament elections—bravo! It takes courage, conviction, and a deep sense of responsibility to step up and represent your peers. Whether you won a seat or not, your willingness to lead, listen, and make a difference speaks volumes about your character.

Sometimes, and for many different reasons, our students can face challenges. A missing lunch, a ripped shirt, or simply not having what they need to succeed can cause feelings of panic, stress and anxiety. Thanks to Noelle’s Gift Closets, students can access what they need -quickly and discreetly- so they can return to their day feeling cared for, confident, and ready to learn. 💙
We’re excited to share that the Noelle’s Gift Closet Initiative is opening the door for local businesses and organizations to become “Closet Sponsors.” Sponsorship helps keep these closets stocked and ensures students always have access to the essentials they need to thrive. 🌟

Together, we can make every day a little brighter for our students. 💫

With the first day of school just around the corner, we know you are making your plans for before and after school. Here is a reminder of our new bell times that were shared with you last spring.

We can't wait to welcome all of our new Junior Kindergarten students tomorrow!

Don't forget that tomorrow is Canadian Spirit day so remember to wear your red and white. Oh, and it's also the last day of school. 🤪

Our Dragons came through in a big way with our most recent canned food drive in support of the Petrolia Community Refrigerator. Shout to Mme Verroen's class and Mme De Groot/Mme Rumford's class for being the top two classes. Enjoy the pizza and ice cream! Merci à Amanda Cousins for helping organize this important event.

Today is the last day of our snack program this year. Thank you to Mme Trudeau and all of her helpers for ensuring that everyone had something in their belly to start the day. We are grateful to Ontario Student Nutrition Program, President's Choice Children's Charity and many local organizations for their support of our snack program. Merci!

🏒 Exciting Visitor Alert! 🏒
Today, our school had the incredible opportunity to welcome an NHL draft prospect for a special visit! Students were inspired as Jack Nesbitt shared his journey—from hard work and dedication on the ice to the importance of staying focused in school and never giving up on your dreams.
We wish him the best of luck as he heads to Los Angeles next week for the NHL Draft! 🎉

What a beauty of a day for Play Day. Merci à Mme DeGroot pour avoir organisé.

🎉🍽️ Colour House Picnic Fun! 🍽️🎉 Today, our entire school came together to enjoy a special Colour House Picnic! ☀️✨ Every student was treated to delicious Bagel Bites with marinara sauce, a frozen yogurt tube, and a refreshing milk — all made possible thanks to the generous support of the President’s Choice Children's Charity. 🥯🍓🥛 It was wonderful to see our students sharing a meal, enjoying the sunshine, and building school spirit together. 💙💚💛❤️

⚽️ ⚽️What a day it was for the intermediate soccer tournament! The sun was shining and so were our teams. Both made it all the way to the finals where the girls played hard but came up short against Queen Elizabeth. The boys kept everyone on the edge of their seat and pulled off a victory in a shoot-out against Centennial. Congratulations to all players et un gros merci à M. Kennefick et M. Woltz pour l'entraînement. 🏆🎉

Come on, Dragons - let's show our support for those in need.
