The Lambton Kent District School Board (LKDSB) is pleased to announce the launch of its new Student & Family Support Office, a centralized resource designed to help students, families, caregivers, and community members access information, navigate concerns, and connect with supports across the school system.

The creation of the Student & Family Support Office aligns with direction from the Ontario Ministry of Education to strengthen parent and caregiver engagement and ensure families have clear pathways to seek information, support, and resolution when concerns arise. The office serves as an additional point of contact for families, helping to foster positive relationships between home and school while enhancing communication and transparency.

At LKDSB, we recognize that students achieve their best outcomes when schools and families work together. The Student & Family Support Office has been established to provide a welcoming, supportive, and accessible resource for families seeking assistance, guidance, or information about their child's educational experience.

The office can help families navigate board processes, access available resources, and connect with the appropriate staff or department to address questions or concerns. Whether families are seeking information about student well-being, attendance, transportation, special education supports, school procedures, or other board services, the Student & Family Support Office is available to help guide them in the right direction.
