The Lambton Kent District School Board (LKDSB) is pleased to announce the appointment of Kelly Holbrough as Superintendent of Education, effective July 1, 2026.
Holbrough brings extensive system‑level leadership experience and a strong record of improving student achievement, strengthening school improvement, and fostering equitable, inclusive learning environments. She has served as Principal at W. Sherwood Fox Public School and C.C. Carrothers Elementary School in the Thames Valley District School Board, where her data‑informed instructional leadership contributed to significant gains in student outcomes.
Previously, Holbrough was an Academic Superintendent with the London District Catholic School Board, supporting a broad portfolio including Special Education, Mental Health and Well‑Being, Early Years, Leadership Development, and Elementary Operations and Staffing. She has also provided system leadership across up to 30 Families of Schools. Holbrough is recognized for her collaborative, equity‑driven leadership and has completed advanced training in conflict resolution and alternative dispute resolution. She holds a Master of Education in Educational Leadership.
In her new role, Holbrough will report to the Chief Executive Officer and support system‑wide initiatives that promote student achievement, well‑being, and equitable outcomes, while providing leadership to multiple Kindergarten to Grade 12 Families of Schools.
