The Lambton Kent District School Board (LKDSB) is excited to announce that community voting is now open for the Board‑wide “Name Our Salt Spreader” Contest!
Over the past week, LKDSB classes from across Sarnia-Lambton and Chatham-Kent have submitted their most creative, clever, and community‑spirited name suggestions for our two new salt spreaders. We are thrilled to share that the submissions are now live—and it’s time for our broader community to help choose the winners.
How It Works
All submitted names have been posted!
Students, families, staff, and community members are invited to cast their votes for their favourite entry.
Two winning names will be selected:
One for the Sarnia-Lambton region
One for the Chatham-Kent region
The classes whose names earn the most votes will receive:
🎉 A pizza party, and
🚚 Their winning name proudly displayed on the salt spreader’s carrier truck
