Staff and students of High Park School express condolences to the family of Carol-Lee Halcovitch, who was a valued staff member who supported our school. Ms. Halcovitch died over the March Break, unexpectedly, having suffered a brain aneurysm.
We are committed to supporting our students' overall well-being and success. Members of the Psychology department and TERT (Tragic Events Response Team) are available to provide support via phone counselling as needed. Please contact Administration (email@example.com) if your child is having difficulty with this news and would like to speak with a counsellor. Assistance can also be provided in terms of guidance on how to inform your child about this sad news, coping strategies, normal reactions and signs of when to reach out for help.
Should your child wish to make a card, feel free to take a picture of it and email it to firstname.lastname@example.org, and we will be sure to get this to Ms. Halcovitch's family.
The flag at the school is lowered to half-mast in honour of Ms. Halcovitch.
