This spring, students in Grade 3 and Grade 6 will be writing the province-wide assessment of reading, writing and math from May 23 to June 2. This annual test is administered for the Education Quality Accountability Office (EQAO) at every school. At Hanna Memorial, the Grade 6’s will complete the test beginning on May 23 and will finish on May 26. The Grade 3’s will complete the test beginning on May 29 and will finish on June 2. The results of the testing are used to assist in improvement planning at the school, board and provincial level. Parents are asked to please avoid scheduling appointments during this time in order to avoid disruption of the testing. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
