Hello Huskies!
Hanna Memorial School is a caring and supportive school where everyone belongs. Our enrolment consists of 204 students from Full Day Kindergarten to Grade 8, including two Alternative Learning and Life Skills Program (ALLP) classrooms. In 2014, the school community completed an ambitious $75,000 upgrade of fully accessible playground and primary equipment in the Russell Street yard. We offer students engaging curricular and co-curricular activities with many sports and clubs including Cross Country, Soccer, Volleyball, Basketball and Track and Field. The Little Friends Childcare is an independent agency that provides both Before and After School Programs in Room 20. Through the Ontario Student Nutrition Program and many helpful volunteers, we are able to offer a daily breakfast and healthy snack program to nourish our students' minds and bodies.
We count on the wonderful contributions of our many volunteers. If you are interested in volunteering for one of our many programs please do not hesitate to contact the school or school council.
Looking forward to a fantastic year,
Mr. Miller. :)
