​On Wednesday, October 2, the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) Ontario announced that in the absence of a negotiated settlement, its members will escalate labour sanctions to include a full strike at Ontario school boards, effective Monday, October 7, 2019. The Lambton Kent District School Board is currently reviewing what the impacts of this strike action would mean in our schools.
