As Grade 9 students begin thinking about their courses for next year, Grade 10 course selection is an important opportunity for students and families to talk about interests, strengths and future goals.

To help support these conversations, we invite Grade 9 students and their families to watch Keeping Pathways Open, a video that explores how Grade 10 course choices can help students maintain flexibility as they continue to learn more about themselves and the many pathways available after high school.

The video shares perspectives from LKDSB pathway leaders, skilled trades apprentices and Dr. Jon Callegher, Executive Director of Job Talks, with helpful information about course selection and keeping a range of post-secondary options open.
