Lower Thames Conservation and the Chatham Kent Public Health brought us 12 trees we got to plant today! It was a chilly start but digging, scooping and making the mulch into a donut warmed us up! Thank you for helping with our drainage and oxygen on the playground 🌳🌲

Rocky Sands and Jesse Sands (from Walpole Island) came to Wheatley Area Public School to do a presentation to some classes about hunting and trapping. They brought with them some traps, pelts and other artifacts. The kids enjoyed listening to the elders stories and getting to ask them questions. We are so thankful that we got to have this opportunity and are looking forward to when we can hear from them again!
