Today, our younger students gathered in the gym for a Remembrance Day Service. The event offered a meaningful opportunity for them to reflect on the significance of Remembrance Day and to pay tribute to the courage and sacrifice of Canadian veterans and service members. The program included readings, music, and a moment of silence to honour those who have served in times of war and peace.
Our Junior/Intermediate students gathered at the Wheatley Cenotaph for the service - reciting Flanders Fields and singing O' Canada.

Our students spent some time with Chad Solomon today. He brought his interactive puppet theatre called Rabbit and Bear Paws to our school to retell the story of how turtle carries our world on her back and how the tiny muskrat succeeds in giving all of us, the greatest gift of all. A place to call home, Turtle Island. Thank you to Chad for the laughs and the learning.

Thumbs up for Amira learning! Three SK students working on their reading skills.
