Our Grade 5 students graduated today from the VIP - Values, Influences & Peers Program — an important initiative that supports students in building self-awareness, confidence, and strong decision-making skills, led by Constable Oswald from the Chatham Kent Police Service. Through meaningful conversations and activities, students explore how personal values shape their choices, how influences (including social media, friends, and role models) impact their thinking, and how to navigate peer relationships in healthy, respectful ways. A special thank you to the Wheatley Optimist Club for the shirts. Thomas Grubb from the Wheatley Optimists joined the celebration today to present certificates and shirts to the graduates with Constable Oswald.

Warriors are Golden! Our girls basketball team successfully won a tournament at UMEI today! Go Warriors! Congratulations!

Maple syrup tapping is a fun, educational, and easy early-spring activity that teaches kids about nature, where food comes from, and sustainability. Today our FDK and SK/1 classes took a walking field trip to learn how to tap trees for maple syrup. The best time is when temperatures fluctuate from below freezing nights to above freezing days. We made the best of a great morning.

Our winter Carnavale kicked off this morning. Thanks to Mr Longpré for the leadership on this week of activities. Our kings and queens were announced this morning and helped with the assembly!
