Welcome to our Book Tasting! Our Learning Commons teacher, Mrs Carrothers, is giving students the opportunity to "sample" the many books our library has to offer.

What a great day for our annual Terry Fox Run. Thank you to our students for donating - we raised 118% of our goal amount!

The weather cooperated to give us a great night for our Meet the Staff BBQ. Thank you to the families who came out to join us, to those who signed up for School Council and to John McGregor staff and students for joining us.

Excited to see our Leadership team outfitted in their new spirit wear. Can't wait to see them in action with @Kiwanis TERRIFIC KIDS

🚌 Bus Safety First at Victor Lauriston! Today, our students had an important bus safety and etiquette presentation. They learned valuable lessons on how to stay safe on and around the bus, as well as how to be respectful riders. Our students are now better equipped with the knowledge they need to make every bus ride a safe and pleasant experience for everyone!

Here's to a fantastic school year!

We're so excited to see everyone on Tuesday for the First Day of School!

Even though it's the last day of school, everyone had a great time visiting their new classrooms and meeting their teachers and classmates.

Our Kindergarten students showed us their rhythm at their Year End Celebration! We loved having all of our families join us for the fun!

The weather cooperated long enough this morning to sneak in the Staff vs Student baseball game. This ultra athletic group of VLS staff once again proved their dominance with a decisive win⚾️

Hi Families, We have an awful lot of clothes in our Lost and Found! Please encourage your child to take a look for missing items, or come by the school at 3:35 to check for yourself. Any goods still here on Wednesday will be bagged and donated to the local thrift stores.

Friday was a great day for our final Leadership Team whole school event. Students spent the afternoon outside drawing, playing, eating freezies and engaging in a gigantic game of Everybody's It - with wet sponges!

Thanks to our amazing School Council, every one of our students enjoyed Taco Thursday last week🌮 We are so lucky at Victor Lauriston to have such generous volunteers who already always looking for ways make our school better. Stay tuned for Smoothie Day before the year is out!
