FDK-RC spends every other Wednesday at Two Creeks Conservation Area participating in Forest School. The children get picked up and dropped off on those days and spend the day hiking, climbing, digging, exploring, problem solving, cooking and so much more.

A dedicated educator with over 25 years of service, Gary has been a lifelong champion of student achievement, equity, and community collaboration. Having held various roles across the Board, including Superintendent of Education, his experience and commitment to creating inclusive, safe learning environments make him the perfect leader to guide the future of education in our region.
As Gary steps into this new role, he remains deeply committed to fostering a community where every student, staff member, and family feels valued and supported. With a passion for education and a belief in the power of public schools, he is excited to continue the Board's efforts in creating a thriving, innovative environment for all.
