Some of our Junior students had the opportunity to try out their skills during our STEM challenge today. Students worked in small groups to design a gate to support the weight of a small pumpkin using tape, glue and Q-tips. Check out the pictures of their ideas!

Show your spooktacular school spirit by wearing orange, black, green or purple on Friday October 31st.
No costumes please.

We need your help! Can you make a donation to help us build some raffle baskets for the Tilbury Christmas Market?
Our basket themes are Gift cards, Movie night and Candy!

Socktober has begun! Our Kindness Club appreciates all of those that brought in socks today to help with our campaign! These two students filled two boxes of socks!

The Kindness Club here at TAPS is holding a Sock Drive for the month of October to help those in our community in need. Please consider supporting our fundraiser. It is a simple as purchasing nice, new, fuzzy warm socks for folks (toddlers to adults) who may be in need. Please send them in and we will make sure they get to the right places in our community!
Our Sock Drive is from now until October 31st. Thank you for your support with this project!

Yesterday, September 30th, we observed the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation (Orange Shirt Day) to honour the Survivors of residential schools, their families, and communities and to remember the children who never returned home.

Our grades 3/4, 4/5 and ALLP classes had a great day at the CK Water Festival today. We learned, we played and enjoyed the outdoors. Thanks to our parent volunteers for assisting us today.

We did it! Our students and staff had an amazing day walking to support the Terry Fox foundation and his incredible legacy. We're so proud of everyone who participated and helped us raise funds for cancer research. Every step taken today brings us closer to a cure. 🏃🏃♀️

Our TAPS Terry Fox walk will be tomorrow. Please bring in a Toonie for Terry to help support cancer research.

Don't forget about school photos tomorrow! And our meet the teacher barbeque runs from four until 630. Hope to see you all there!

🚌 Today our students learned all about bus safety from the experts—our amazing bus drivers! 🚦 They practiced safe loading, riding, and unloading, and now feel more confident traveling to and from school each day. A big thank you to our drivers for keeping everyone safe on the road!

School photos will be taken on Thursday, September 18th. 📸

Come join us Thursday night for our Meet the Teacher night! Visit your child's classroom, visit our Book Fair and buy some popcorn outside of Room 15!
