Today SJM students participated in the 45th annual Terry Fox Run.
Let’s Keep Terry’s Dream Alive! 🏃♂️❤️
It's not to late to bring in a toonie (or any amount) to support this year’s Terry Fox School Run. Donations can also be made online through our school’s official Terry Fox fundraising page (link below). Every toonie makes a difference – just like Terry believed.
Thank you to all students and families who have already donated!

Today, our students took part in Bus Evacuation Training to strengthen their understanding of school bus safety and emergency procedures.
This important learning experience helps ensure that students know how to ride safely and respond calmly in case of an emergency.
A heartfelt thank you to Intertrain Incorporated, Langs, our dedicated bus drivers, amazing intermediate student helpers, and CLASS for working together to make this event possible. Your support helps keep our students safe and confident!

Every Wednesday at SJM, we wear orange as a sign of respect, remembrance, and solidarity.
We honour the children, families, and communities impacted by residential schools, and we recognize and celebrate the rich cultures, histories, and contributions of Indigenous Peoples. Wearing orange is one way we commit to listening, learning, and walking together in reconciliation.

We have a beautiful new addition in our front foyer thanks to John Williams, a talented artist from Aamjiwnaang. John worked with some of our grade 5/6 students last year creating their own works of art and then he painted this beautiful mural over the summer. Chi-miigwech, John!
