We celebrated World Down Syndrome Day! It was amazing to watch the kids learn about DS and celebrate acceptance.
The Grade 2/3’s in Mrs. Fraser’s class enjoyed the morning at The Sugar Bush on Aamjiwnaang. MIigwech Sophie and family for sharing your land and allowing us to tap a tree and collect sap. We had a great time exploring ❤️🍁

The 2025 Pink Shirt Day theme is all about cultivating a community of kindness. A dedicated educator with over 25 years of service, Gary has been a lifelong champion of student achievement, equity, and community collaboration. Having held various roles across the Board, including Superintendent of Education, his experience and commitment to creating inclusive, safe learning environments make him the perfect leader to guide the future of education in our region.
As Gary steps into this new role, he remains deeply committed to fostering a community where every student, staff member, and family feels valued and supported. With a passion for education and a belief in the power of public schools, he is excited to continue the Board's efforts in creating a thriving, innovative environment for all.
