The Grade 2/3 class from Room 7 wished their much loved Painted Lady Butterflies farewell as they set off in nature to continue their life cycle. They were received as tiny caterpillars and were observed for three weeks. Thank you to the SEP (Science Education Partnership) for providing us with this experience. Be free and all the best little butterflies ❤️🦋

Please join us for a FREE community show at the GLSS auditorium on the evening of May 6th at 6:00 p.m., featuring a viewing of Star Wars: A New Hope dubbed in Ojibwe.

Our Parent Council meeting has been postponed until Thursday, May 15.

Our Grade 6/7 class had the opportunity to participate in the VALS program this year. As part of the experience, students received art instruction from a talented school parent, John Wolfe. During the session, they worked with acrylic paints to create vibrant cardinal paintings, showcasing their creativity and growing artistic skills.
