4) If you are not a reader but still want to help our school win the reading challenge, here is an ease way to read. Looking at assignment requirements from Teachers, instructions for science labs, worksheets in class, and brief passages in textbooks all count as part of reading goal. Even 10 minutes of reading time could make the difference for us to win! Also make sure to let Miss Syer know who much time you spend reading, everyone who does will be entered into a draw for a prize.

6) Intramural COED volleyball begins next week at lunch. Sign up today outside the boys or girls physed offices to secure your team's spot. All teams must include at least 3 boys and 3 girls. There's only space for 8 teams so sign up fast. A schedule will be posted once the teams are all set. (Mr. Eberlin)
7) Last night the Jr Girls volleyball team took on Tilbury in their quarter-final playoff match. The Eagles dominated from start to finish winning in 3 straight games, 25-9, 25-19, 25-17. It's a quick turn around as the team is back at it tonight in Dresden for the semi-final. Good Luck Eagles! (Mr. Eberlin)
8) Yesterday the Male Eagles, known as the Tercels, went to battle at the Shores against an unsavoury foe. Yes, the ugly, the distraught, the leprechaun's came to our ice nest in Forest. The Irish were met with full force of the talons as the Eagles shredded the pot of gold several birds made great contributions. Cooper A blasted his way to a hat trick. Sean V blasted 2 and had a helper. On "D" Ty R, T V and Paul V had 2 assists each AJ W had the tying goal. Chewy G added some extra padding. Ryan B and Ben W finished off the scoring in a 7-3 onslaught. Jordan S got the "W" in the pipes. Next up, PLAYOFFS. Hello, Dresden, here comes the Flock. (Mr. Tichenoff)
9) Yesterday your Eagle wrestling team participated in the LKSSAA event. The day had many great moments and some heartbreaking moments also. To move on to SWOSSAA wrestlers must finish in Top 4. Finishing 4: Felix S, Eddie M, Austin D, Daphne F and Anna H. Finishing 3rd: Addy H and Ben S. Finishing 2nd: Simon S and Danica C, Finishing 1st: Aunnie S and Jordan A. Every year MVP of the tournament is always selected. This has been a tradition since 1984. Also, since 1984 - 4- years - NLSS has never won this trophy. Yesterday that changed. Congratulations to Jordan A - North Lambton's first ever LKSSAA MVP. Check out the hardware today in the main office. (Mr. Smit)
10) Last night the senior girls' volleyball played their final game of the season against Chatham Christian. Unfortunately, the girls lost the quarter final match, but they played very well and really came together as a team as the season progressed. Delaney A never game up on the ball, Alivia L had some big blocks and Kyla M threw up some great sets. Great work ladies!
