Grade 10 leadership students exemplified Panther Excellence yesterday morning. They worked on communication and problem solving skills while developing an understanding of their strengths and identity.

We were able to head into our feeder schools to present our JMSS prizes to some students who visited our table at their Meet the Educator Night. We are so excited for you all to be Future Panthers!

Every Child Matters.
Talk about a delicious display of skill! 🤩 Mrs Lawrence’s Hospitality and Tourism Grade 12 students dove into the art of apple carving yesterday. From beautiful apple swans to one incredibly detailed sea turtle, they brought their creativity to life. What an impressive job! 👏
National Day for Truth and Reconciliation – Orange Shirt Day – Tuesday, September 30th
The Lambton Kent District School Board will commemorate the impact of residential schools on Tuesday, September 30th, 2025 – Orange Shirt Day.
Students and staff are encouraged to wear orange shirts and use this day as a catalyst to encourage learning and understanding about the residential school system and the impacts that system has had on First Nations, Metis and Inuit people.
This is a meaningful way as school communities to come together in a spirit of reconciliation and hope because “Every Child Matters”. Respectfully, both the “Every Child Matters” flag and the Canadian flag at all LKDSB schools and facilities will be lowered on September 30th.

Our Pit Crew Team had a great time at Delaware Speedway on Friday night. With a few minor changes, the team passed the chemical inspection and were ready to race.
Panther alumni, Harlie Hornick, drove the car. She finished all races but the car had a shifting problem due to a bad wheel sensor. The team will replace the sensor for the Oct 4th race.
There were a few bumps and bruises on the car, but it finished intact and will be at our Grade 12 Graduation and will be racing in the fall.
