Panther Merchandise Store is now open! The store will closed on October 19th - happy shopping!

We were able to head into our feeder schools to present our JMSS prizes to some students who visited our table at their Meet the Educator Night. We are so excited for you all to be Future Panthers!

Upcoming Retake/Absentee Day - Oct 14th

Our school community is standing together to observe Orange Shirt Day with this collaborative chalk mural. Orange Shirt Day is a day for Truth, healing, and acknowledging the tragic legacy of the Residential School System.
Every Child Matters.

Talk about a delicious display of skill! 🤩 Mrs Lawrence’s Hospitality and Tourism Grade 12 students dove into the art of apple carving yesterday. From beautiful apple swans to one incredibly detailed sea turtle, they brought their creativity to life. What an impressive job! 👏

National Day for Truth and Reconciliation – Orange Shirt Day – Tuesday, September 30th
The Lambton Kent District School Board will commemorate the impact of residential schools on Tuesday, September 30th, 2025 – Orange Shirt Day.
Students and staff are encouraged to wear orange shirts and use this day as a catalyst to encourage learning and understanding about the residential school system and the impacts that system has had on First Nations, Metis and Inuit people.
This is a meaningful way as school communities to come together in a spirit of reconciliation and hope because “Every Child Matters”. Respectfully, both the “Every Child Matters” flag and the Canadian flag at all LKDSB schools and facilities will be lowered on September 30th.

Thank you to our feeder schools for inviting us to your Meet the Educator Night to meet our Future Panthers.

Terry Fox 2025 - we walked - we socialized - we snacked! It was great to have the whole Panther Family together!

JMSS Rainbow - after a storm we are greeted with such beauty!

Photo Day - September 15th!

Congratulations to all of our Panthers on finishing another school year! Thank you for your ideas, your efforts, your smiles and your awesomeness. Please keep shining, keep learning, and keep believing in yourself.
Congratulations to our Grade 12 Panther Graduates! We are beyond proud of all that you have accomplished and we wish you the absolute best in your next chapter.

Our Pit Crew Team had a great time at Delaware Speedway on Friday night. With a few minor changes, the team passed the chemical inspection and were ready to race.
Panther alumni, Harlie Hornick, drove the car. She finished all races but the car had a shifting problem due to a bad wheel sensor. The team will replace the sensor for the Oct 4th race.
There were a few bumps and bruises on the car, but it finished intact and will be at our Grade 12 Graduation and will be racing in the fall.
Thank you to everyone that continues to support our Transportation and Race Car program.

Congratulations to this semester's Transportation Technology Hand Tool Award Winners!

Building gliders and having flight tests. What a great learning experience for our Panthers!

Wow, what a finish to the JMSS intramural indoor soccer season!
⚽🥅
"Teacher Team A" didn't just win, they conquered, securing a JMSS intramural three-peat in the most dramatic fashion!
⚽️🥅
After a last-minute foul by Miss Meredith on a student led to a thrilling no-goal call by Ref Wood, it all came down to a shootout.
⚽️
And that's where heroes emerged: Mr. Page saved the game by scoring the only goal, and Mr. Parks was an absolute brick wall, saving every single shot! Unbelievable!
⚽️🥅
A huge thank you to all the students and staff who made bringing back Panther Intramurals so fun! We couldn't have done it without all of y'all.

Last week on Thursday June 12th, the JMSS Indigenous Student Council organized the 2nd Annual JMSS Pow-Wow! Special guests, singers, dancers, vendors, visitors, community members and members of the surrounding nations all attended the celebration. This event brings with it dance styles and history from various tribes from across North America. Not only did our Indigenous Student Council participate, students from the CKSS Indigenous Student Council also came to show their support! The day was truly something special.

With the hustle and bustle that comes with wrapping up course work and preparing for Final Evaluations, we are very thankful for the opportunity to host the St. John's Ambulance Therapy Dogs. Their second visit was just as big of a success as their first.

To be a Panther is to have opportunities like this one. Completing a fluids inspection on a Viper, yes please!

Our Panther Leadership class, along with some of our Panther staff, spent a memorable afternoon with our future Panthers from Winston Churchill. The talent was amazing, the laughs were contagious, and the vibe was electric!

What an incredible night! 🎉 Our Athletic Banquet was a huge success, celebrating the dedication, talent, and sportsmanship of our amazing student-athletes and coaches!
It was fantastic to see everyone come together to honour a season of hard work, triumphs, and unforgettable moments. Huge congratulations to all award winners and every single athlete who gave it their all!
