Please ensure that you are packing enough food in your child(ren)'s lunch to sustain them throughout the day, as they won't be receiving their normal pizza orders.

We are transforming the gym into a cozy theater for our screening of IF. Pack your lawn chairs, yoga mats, pillows, sleeping bags, and favorite stuffies, and settle in for a relaxing movie night on Thursday, February 26th.

Today is the day we begin to welcome our newest Wildcats, the Kindergarten students who will join us in September 2026.
Today, January 29th from 4:00 until 7:00pm as well as tomorrow, January 30th from 9:00am until 3:00pm, we are inviting all families to come and register. There will be staff to meet, learning spaces to visit, opportunities for pictures and goodie bags to take home.
If you know of a friend, family member or neighbour who qualifies to start school in the fall, please pass this message along to them.

This Thursday and Friday, January 29th and 30th, the opportunity to register your child for Kindergarten at Harwich Raleigh takes place. We are excited to welcome families with children eligible for JK or SK in September 2026 to the school during the times listed.
If you need assistance prior to Thursday, please call the school office at 519-676-5481.
Parents of students in Grade 8 in the French Immersion Program-
Please take note that the CKSS Open House event is scheduled for Wednesday, February 4th, 2026 beginning at 6:30pm.
This event will allow families to tour the school, meet the staff, learn about the programs offered and ask questions.

Due to the snowfall and road conditions, buses in zones 7&8 are cancelled today. Schools will remain open for those who can get there safely. *Remember, if you are able to drive your child(ren) to school, you will need to pick them up at the end of the day.

Walking Tacos are served in individual Dorito nacho chip bags for a fun and portable snack. Choose any or all of your favorite toppings like ground beef, lettuce, cheese and tomatoes at no additional charge. Orders and payments will be accepted through School Cash Online.
We will not be able to reimburse students who are absent. Last day to place orders is Thursday, February 5, 2026.

Hey Wildcats!
It looks like the winter weather will be here for a bit. This a reminder that if possible, students will be outside for their morning arrival time (9:00-915am) and then two 20 minute breaks throughout the day. Our school yard is expansive and fairly wide open to the elements, especially the wind. Please set your child up for success and comfort by helping them to dress appropriately for the weather. Warm, waterproof gloves or mitts for them to wear are EXTREMELY helpful, in addition to winter boots, hats, scarves, snow pants and wind-proof coats.
We have amazing Educational Assistants who pour their heart and soul and everything they have into their job. We are grateful for the work they do to support our students and our school community.
Due to inclement weather across the district, ALL Lambton Kent District School Board schools will be closed for Thursday, January 15, 2026. Please stay safe.
