Some parent volunteers are offering a special lunch of Walking Tacos during the first nutrition break at 11:15am on Friday, February 13, 2026.

Walking Tacos are served in individual Dorito nacho chip bags for a fun and portable snack. Choose any or all of your favorite toppings like ground beef, lettuce, cheese and tomatoes at no additional charge. Orders and payments will be accepted through School Cash Online.
We will not be able to reimburse students who are absent. Last day to place orders is Thursday, February 5, 2026.

Hey Wildcats! It looks like the winter weather will be here for a bit. This a reminder that if possible, students will be outside for their morning arrival time (9:00-915am) and then two 20 minute breaks throughout the day. Our school yard is expansive and fairly wide open to the elements, especially the wind. Please set your child up for success and comfort by helping them to dress appropriately for the weather. Warm, waterproof gloves or mitts for them to wear are EXTREMELY helpful, in addition to winter boots, hats, scarves, snow pants and wind-proof coats.

We have amazing Educational Assistants who pour their heart and soul and everything they have into their job. We are grateful for the work they do to support our students and our school community.

Due to inclement weather across the district, ALL Lambton Kent District School Board schools will be closed for Thursday, January 15, 2026. Please stay safe.

Hello Wildcat families: Tomorrow is supposed to be Day Two of Lacrosse Skills instruction presented by Jamie from Leave Your Mark Lacrosse. In the event of bus cancellations tomorrow, the lacrosse skills will be moved to another day and will take place then. Jamie travels from out of town and we want to make sure that he gets to and from the school safely in addition to all of our students being able to participate in this learning and skill building which we know would be a challenge if transportation is cancelled.

Kwanzaa is a weeklong holiday celebration of African American culture held annually from December 26 to January 1, culminating in a communal feast. This is not a religious holiday but a cultural celebration based on African harvest festival traditions and is a way to celebrate African heritage and legacy, much like other cultural celebrations.
For those who participate in Kwanzaa celebrations, enjoy the time with your family and friends.

Hanukkah in 2025 begins at sundown on Sunday, December 14, 2025, and ends at sundown on Monday, December 22, 2025. It is an eight-day Jewish festival of lights, commemorating the rededication of the Second Temple in Jerusalem.

Today is the last day that the Book Fair will remain open for sales after school. Our staff will be available between 4:00 and 6:00pm today to help you begin or finish-up shopping for the holidays.

Good evening Wildcat families,

This is a reminder that beginning tomorrow, December 8th, the Book Fair will be open for sales. For students JK through Grade 3, sales are at first break, 11:35-11:55am. For students grade 4-8, sales are at second break, 1:55-2:15pm.

Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday afterschool, the Book Fair will be open for shopping from 4:00-6:00pm.

We are looking forward to welcoming everyone to this exciting event.

The buses are cancelled today due to weather conditions. The school will remain open for those who are able to safely travel to and from school. Please ensure that if you are out on the roads, you are doing so only if it is safe.

Congratulations to the Senior Girls Volleyball team. This afternoon, on home court, the Wildcats were able to defeat the guests from Tilbury Area Public School in three straight matches. Way to go players and coaches!
