The Harwich Raleigh recycling club celebrated a successful year with a t-shirt decorating party. This crew was honoured by the lower Thames Conservation authority for making our school a greener place when they planted 6 native trees.

The starter’s horn sounded at Great Lakes Secondary School—and with it, a new LKDSB tradition was born.
For the first time, 531 elementary student athletes from across our entire bard came together for a unified Track & Field Meet— with representation stretching from Wheatley to Grand Bend.
From powerful sprints to soaring jumps and electrifying relays, the day was filled with determination, sportsmanship, and unforgettable moments. Even more impactful? Students competing alongside peers they’d never met before, building connections that reached far beyond the finish line.
This wasn’t just a meet—it was the beginning of something bigger for LKDSB students.

Friendly Reminder: Friday, June 5th is a PA Day across all Lambton Kent District School Board Schools!
This is a reminder to all HRPS familes that Friday, June 5th is a Professional Activity Day. This means that school staff will be busy engaged in their own learning and no classes will take place. We will see everyone back at school on Monday, June 8th.
This Saturday, June 6th, there is a great opportunity in the Blenheim community for young students to learn some bike safety, have a chance to win a prize and, receive a free lunch. Lunch items will be available to be purchased for non-participants. Check out details on the flyer attached.

Our school has been so excited to participate in Jump Rope for Heart—a fundraising program that empowers kids to build healthy habits and understand the importance of giving back. Together, we are working together to try to make a difference in the fight to beat heart disease and stroke. The generous contributions from our school community have helped make a significant impact! Our overall fundraising goal was $4000. We held our Jump Rope event on Thursday May 7th and it was a huge success. The entire student body was involved from helping to run the Jump Stations, leading our student groups around, all the way to participating in the event itself and showing off their jump rope skills.
In one week, on May 14th, our annual Track and Field meet will take place at the school. We are looking for volunteers to run the concession stand where hotdogs are grilled and sold along with other items such as Gatorade, Freezies and chips.
In order to make these items available to students and families who are visiting, we need volunteers. Without volunteers to run the concessions, this opportunity won't be available for students and families.
