The Victor Lauriston school teams go by the name "Lions". The school
crest pictures a fierce lion, climbing the highest hill in the area. The
school colours are dark red, light grey and white.
The school is named for Victor Lauriston, perhaps most famous for
his book, "Romantic Kent", a history of Kent County. In his book Mr.
Lauriston wrote of the early settlements and the different townships
that make up modern Chatham-Kent.
