Tilbury Area Public School is fortunate to have a dedicated group of
parents who have volunteered to be members of our School Council.
School councils are advisory groups that are mandated and regulated by the
Ministry of Education through the Education Act. Members represent the
school community and include parents, staff and community representatives. In
their role as an advisory council, their input is much appreciated.
We thank Lisa Russell for
agreeing to be chair for 2019 year. The Council
meets 4
times per year. The dates will be in the
months of September, November, February and April. Specific dates will be in newsletters and posted on the calendar. We encourage all parents to come out to the meetings!
Becoming a member of the school council is a fantastic way to become
involved in your child’s school community and to represent the parents of
TAPS. Everyone is welcome to attend our meetings and we hope to see you
there!
