Every Voice Counts
The Lambton Kent District School Board appreciates the participation of students, parents/guardians and staff in the School Climate Survey April 1-12. The information provided will inform planning programs and decision-making related to supporting safe and inclusive school environments.
The results of the survey will be analyzed by Windsor-Essex County Health Unit. The survey responses are anonymous and individualized results will be kept confidential; however, aggregated school and Board responses will be shared publicly (except in cases where individuals may be identified). It is expected the survey results will be publicly available in Fall 2019.
The LKDSB surveys were developed with input from students, parents/guardians; school and Board administration, including Mental Health, Safe Schools and Indigenous Education representatives, and Chatham-Kent Public Health and Lambton Public Health.
2016-2017 School Climate Survey
The LKDSB reviewed the results of its 2016-2017 school climate survey with principals and representatives of our school communities to assist with planning and inform decision-making. The information has also informed the school Multi-Disciplinary Teams as they work to develop programming to prevent bullying, promote safe and inclusive schools, and support mental health and well-being.
