June 23-29, 2017 have been designated by the Ministry of Education and the Lambton Kent District School Board as Examination Days for Semester 2. All students are expected to write their exams as scheduled by the school except in the case of illness, bereavement or court appearance. Medical notes will be required from students who are absent from exams due to illness. Absence from an exam for any other reason will result in a mark of zero for the exam portion of the course mark. Exams are not rescheduled to accommodate vacations and work schedules.
Regular classroom attendance is integral for student success. Therefore, if you are planning a family vacation during school time, please have your daughter/son pick up a copy of the Parental Request For Student Absence Form
from the main office. This will help our Vice-Principals and teachers when dealing with attendance and course work.
