Lambton County Library's Brigden branch will be closed during the summer to accommodate renovations scheduled at the school.
The library will close at 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 29, 2017 and patrons are encouraged to return their materials by this date as the library drop-off box will be unavailable during the construction project.
The library itself will not be under renovation. However, due to the scope of the project, which involves parking lot upgrades, classroom renovations, roofing and HVAC/mechanical upgrades, the library will be temporarily closed to ensure the safety of its patrons.
During the summer months materials can be renewed or borrowed by visiting neighbouring branches or by using online platforms at www.lclibrary.ca, including the online catalogue and eLibrary.
