🏅 HISTORY IN MOTION
The starter’s horn sounded at Great Lakes Secondary School—and with it, a new LKDSB tradition was born.
For the first time, 531 elementary student athletes from across our entire bard came together for a unified Track & Field Meet— with representation stretching from Wheatley to Grand Bend.
From powerful sprints to soaring jumps and electrifying relays, the day was filled with determination, sportsmanship, and unforgettable moments. Even more impactful? Students competing alongside peers they’d never met before, building connections that reached far beyond the finish line.
This wasn’t just a meet—it was the beginning of something bigger for LKDSB students.

Hello Timberwolf families!
Next Monday, May 11th, will be a free soup day for all the students at Tecumseh Public School! There is no cost for this event and students are not required to take or eat the soup if they do not want to. Students will have a choice between Turkey Vegetable or Potato Leek soup to ensure that students have different options. Please note that no eggs or peanuts will be used to prepare the soup and there will only be enough soup to provide each student with one bowl.
Thank you and we look forward to a great day with some delicious soup!

Tecumseh Public School would like to send a huge thank you to the Ontario Student Nutrition Program (OSNP) for generously providing 600 free yogurt parfaits to every student at Tecumseh Public School. Their support brought so much joy to our halls today, and it was wonderful to see all of our Timberwolf students enjoying a healthy, delicious treat together. The partnership between OSNP and the Lambton Kent District School Board continues to make a meaningful difference in our school community, ensuring students have access to nutritious snacks that help them stay energized, focused, and ready to thrive both in and out of the classroom. The OSNP allows Tecumseh to provide judgement-free food options for students who may be struggling with food insecurities and help bridge the gap so that all students can meet their full potential.
We are incredibly grateful for this ongoing collaboration and the positive impact it has on student well being. A special thank you goes out to all the amazing volunteers who helped make Parfait Day possible—your time, care, and enthusiasm helped create a memorable experience for our students and shows just how deeply you care about improving the lives of Tecumseh students!
