Northern Eco-Team
The Northern Collegiate Institute and Vocational School Eco- Team was created in 2015 by the schools Department of Technology. After a visit to the 2015 Shell Eco Challenge in Detroit, Michigan, with bus loads of engaged students, the school decided that it would be a great learning experience if they were to enter. Northerns' Transportation, Manufacturing, Design and Science classroom teachers all contribute to managing students experiential learning solving real engineering problems.
